UPHOLSTERY / MOTORCYCLES
As I mentioned on the Homepage - this is an aftermarket seat that is a classic example of STIFF . Anytime you glue the cover down on any kind of seat you lose some of the give and it doesnt feel well after an extended cruise . He was actually getting leg numbness - not good .
He wanted to retain the old school diamond vibe yet add comfort so thats what I did and I used genuine leather and a bit of color to compliment the matte gray paint scheme on his bike . He called and said he rode for several hours and had no problems at all so mission accomplished !!
He had another name brand 2 up seat that looked good but had gel pads they had used and he could not ride with that one at all . Gel pad are a major mistake that was introduced years ago - they were for the medical industry and had to do with reduction of hot spots bed sores etc and have NOTHING to do with comfort . From 2010 to 2016 I did over 500 seats and actually removed gel pads from over 30% of these machines- Just saying !
As you scroll through you can see the build in reverse order so as to have the newest image up front .
